After a rough start, Star Spencer has come back to turn in a streak of dominant defensive performances in district play. Glenpool has rolled all season, allowing just 75 points. There’s another big incentive for winning this game — the loser is likely stuck with a first-round playoff home game against Douglass.

→The pick: Glenpool 21, Star Spencer 14. Star Spencer stayed with the Warriors in last year’s game before Glenpool took control in the second half for a 35-6 win. The Bobcats have a better defense this season and are playing better entering this game. It’ll be closer than last year, but Glenpool is just a little too tough for Star Spencer.

→Starring: El Reno has one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks around in Jakeil Everheart. Cory Dauphin has also been a solid two-way player for the Indians. Duncan is led on the ground by Payton Atchley and Jordan Laskey. Atchley is also near the top of Class 5A in tackles.
