Financial Peace classes set

Financial Peace University classes will begin at several Oklahoma churches in the coming weeks.

The 13-week program created by financial expert Dave Ramsey will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 403 N Kate Boevers in Union City. For more information about the classes, call Andrew Teel at 459-6567.

Draper Park Christian Church, 8500 S Walker, will offer classes starting at 6 p.m. Thursday. For more information, call Robert Griffin at 370-0165.

Entertainment Musical tells biblical story

The critically acclaimed off-Broadway musical "The Rock and The Rabbi” will be presented Thursday and Friday at Oklahoma Christian University’s Hardeman Auditorium, 2501 E Memorial.

The performances are sponsored by the university’s business club, Students in Free Enterprise.

The musical will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Also, "The Witnesses,” part two of "The Rock and Rabbi” trilogy, will be presented at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14.

"The Rock and The Rabbi” presents a classical tale of betrayal, friendship, reconciliation and forgiveness using a mix of original acoustic music and storytelling. It chronicles the biblical story of the friendship between Simon Peter and Jesus.

Concert Gospel music on tap

WARWICK — Inspiration Hill will offer a gospel concert at 7 tonight at Successful Word Church.

The event will include music from the Hunt Family Bluegrass and Chris Hester. A love offering will be taken.

The church is 7.2 miles west of Chandler on State Highway 66 and has a big white cross. For more information, call 356-4051.
